Old Fashioned Flatbed Truck - 3D Clipart

It happens often that I am asked to model objects that hold a very important place in the hearts of my customers.  This kind of project is challenging in many ways; the most being the balance between the important details in the model (that customer has identified) and the machineability of the finished model.

In most cases this means leaving out some of the small details in order to not confuse the overall feel of the model.  Most customers would rather leave out things that won't machine at the finished size of the model or, if they do machine, they are not clear.  I find that also the exaggeration of certain customer required details is necessary in order to have the finished part something we both can be proud of.

This model of an Old Fashioned Flatbed Truck is a great example.  The customer was very happy with
the final part and happily let it be sold as 3D clipart so others could us it in their projects.

Steam Train - 3D Clipart

Old Farm Windmill - 3D Clipart

I have just submitted a new model to VA3D.com to be added to my profile and list of models I have for sale.

This one is based on an old farm style windmill. It is a high detailed model that includes the small things like the bolts that hold the tower together.

This would be a perfect icon to have machined onto an entrance sign for a farm or as an element in a mantel scene.

Where to purchase my Dementional Clipart..

Over the last few years I have been a contributing modeler to VA3D.com, building up a small collection of bas-relief models for customers to purchase. As it stands right now it is a loose collection, to say the least. Most of these were created in my spare time or have been derived from everyday work.

I will be focusing more of my time on adding new models monthly in the hope to grow this collection and add a bit of consistency to it.
