My story began back in 1999 when I was working for a local company as the head designer. With the hopes of staying ahead of the competition, the company purchased a desktop CNC machine and 3D relief modeling software. I was one of the two chosen to learn the new software and the operations of the machine.

After much trial and error this new technique became the perfect fit for the company. Building 3D relief models for new products or custom projects became the main focus of my position. Ornaments, jewelry, miniatures, awards, hollowware, flatware, and serving pieces were only a few of the pieces I was challenged with each and every day.

My First ModelWith each new custom project I collaborated directly with the customer to ensure that their design ideas and specifications were incorporated into their final piece. It was important to balance the customer's requirements within the specific production needs. This attention to every detail ensured the finished piece would be cost effective to produce and the end product successful.

With the increasing demands of the customers, the company and the Bas-Relief Model of an MGAindustry, I found myself pushing the software and machine to a level of performance that only the software engineers and seasoned machinists were aware of. During this process, I developed systems and procedures to insure that parts were machined perfect before they were passed on to the production team.

Over time, I started to see how valuable my new skills were and began to dream of someday starting my own company. In early 2005, after an informal meeting with a member of the industry, followed by a casual supper with my family, this dream seemed like a possibility.

State Trooper RingIn 2005 4m3D Creative Design became a registered company and I was on my way to making it a full time career. In 2008, I had the opportunity to leave my full time job to focus on this new company. I embraced this opportunity and have never looked back.

Helping my customers to develop their projects from concept to reality is my focus. Using the 10+ years of experience and my passion for creating quality 3D relief models, I have assisted my customers in producing finished products that they never felt were possible.
