It’s your ring... It’s your design!

What would happen if you gave someone the ability to design any ring that they wanted, using any inspiration, and give them the result.  Not just the the 2D design but the actual physical piece?

That is exactly what I wanted to find out when I sponsored the last FredTweetup.

    (Line-art)

Julie Socvil was the winner and she was keen to get the project moving.  Less then a week later she was firing off design ideas based on her love for flowers.

Once we nailed down a design direction we met to discuss the details. After she approved the direction of the line art, I set off to develop it into a 3D model (using ArtCAM JS).

Soon I had a model I was happy with, it was presented to Julie in the form of a few renderings.

Julie used this as a means of reviewing the model.  We made a few minor changes and the model was sent off to be turned into a real ring.

    (1 of 3 Rendering Proofs)

In this case the model was CNC machined into a wax pattern that was used to create a loss-wax casting of the ring in sterling silver.

Thankfully Julie was very patient seeing as the first ring was lost in the mail and we had to wait for a second to be made.

I am happy to say her wait was worth it!

    Thanks Julie!

I pride myself on being able to deliver to my customers the ring they want!

It’s your ring... It’s your design!

I highly recommend Todd, he is extremely easy to work with and understands what you are trying to tell him even when you have no idea what you are talking about. The ring turned out just as I had hoped, and it is fabulous. This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm so happy with the final product. Thank you again SO much!
